Zonal: Blower Door and Diagnostics - Webinar

This webinar consists of an hour and a half of online lecture suitable for entry-level and intermediate WAP field staff, including installers. The process to be discussed:

- Health and Safety evaluation
- Initial Thermal Imaging
- Initial Blower Door and Diagnostics
Blower Door Assisted IR Scan
Zonal Pressure Diagnostics - Define Priorities
- Targeted Air Seal
- Reevaluate
- Focused Air Sealing
- Room Balancing
- Health and Safety Re-evaluation
- Follow Up / Final Testing
All training is done to meet the standards of the NYS WAP. Students will come away with a basic understanding of the issues inherent to using pressure diagnostics in weatherizing residential buildings. Training handouts will be available to download during the course.
This course is only an introduction; follow up training, both classroom and field, in zonal diagnostics weatherization techniques is highly recommended.
