Reopening New York for WAP Agencies - Webinar / WESTERN REGION

Course Description:
This 3-hour webinar introduces attendees to the NYS Department of Health, US DOE requirements, and NYS HCR WAP recommendations for all construction-related activities, including weatherization, during the COVID 19 Public Health Emergency. The course is specific to agencies that weatherize small homes (1-4 units).
The key objective of agencies resuming operations is to do so safely, for both staff and clients. NYS DOH has developed a master guidance document that highlights the requirements that must be followed to resume weatherization operations and activities in a safe and healthy manner. US DOE and NYSHCR have also issued supplemental guidance that will be covered as part of this course.
