Joe Ilacqua
Joe Ilacqua has 30 years of experience in the home performance/weatherization industry and brings a “hands on” ‘crew focused’ attitude to training. He began as an installer at ECO Works Inc. in 1979. Joe then moved to Entherm where he worked his way up to production manager running up to 5 Weatherization crews. In 2006 Entherm was sold to Green Homes America where Joe continued in his production manager position. As part of his duties, Joe conducted hands on field training sessions for present and new employees. In 2009 and 2010 he traveled to Denver, CO and Fresno, CA to help train HVAC installers of companies that had partnered with GHA. Joe helped train the HVAC installers in the techniques needed to air seal and vent attics, siding removal, and dense pack walls procedures. This helped them incorporate shell improvements into their work scopes to achieve energy savings. Joe is certified by BPI as a Building Analyst Professional, Envelope Professional, Heating Professional, Manufactured Housing Professional, Infiltration and Duct Leakage Professionaland WHALCI Installer, and can proctor these certifications.
